Balloon Wizards and Baby Cakes Northwest is returning to the very place where we launched our gourmet cupcakes. After receiving such great feedback at the first wedding show, we have decided to do it again.  We will be at the Seattle Wedding Expo on January 9^th and 10^th, 2010. This will be our second time at the Seattle Show! When we were there in August we handed out over a thousand mini cupcakes for samples! We plan on doing the same, this time around. Baby Cakes Northwest is Expanding!!!

Baby  Cakes Northwest is growing rapidly, we have new kitchen located in Des Moines and are now taking on wholesale accounts.  We would like to thank Auntie Irene's in Des Moines for partnering up with BCNW.  Now you can get your cupcake fix before 10am with your morning coffee. Baby Cakes Northwest is OPEN!!!

That is right, BCNW is open for business.  Currently we are catering for weddings, birthday parties and corporate functions.  We are also now delivering delicious gourmet cupcakes all around the Puget Sound.  Some of this months flavors include: Smores, Root Beer Float, Chocolate Raspberry (pictured), Snicker Doodle (pictured), Rocky Road (pictured), and more.  Check out all the tasty cupcake options available for Pick-up, Delivery or Catering.

Where can you get a good cupcake you ask?

The crew and I have finally decided on a name for our sister company......Balloon Wizards is proud to introduce Baby Cakes Northwest.  BCNW will be serving delicious cupcakes all over the Puget Sound.  We are currently baking and taste testing (I know, rough job) to make sure we will have the right offerings for Seattle area Bellies. Favorite flavors so far include Peanut Butter Cup, Smores, Rootbeer Float, Snickerdoodle, Chocolate~Raspberry, Peanut Butter and Jelly, Chocolate~Chocolate and Very Vanilla.

Babycakes Northwest will officially launch at the Seattle Wedding Expo, August 22-23, 2009. The website, www.babycakesnorthwest.com, should be up soon.

Who Is Wally?

Several years ago the owners of Balloon Wizards had a talented artist friend named Heather.  We told her that we have a business idea and we need a logo.  So she got out her paint brush and drew up the Balloon Wizards logo that you see today.  After we opened our first retail shop in Des Moines, WA on Marine View Drive South, We held a contest; "Name Our Wizard" The winning name, of course, was Wally. Submitted by our favorite State Farm Agent, Vicki Bergquist.  With the winning name she received a $40 gift certificate to Balloon Wizards.  Thank you Vicki, for giving our little blue wizard an identity.
